Michael is currently in his 3rd year of a Bachelor of Commerce degree at Queen’s University and a project director for Smith Marketing Consulting.
This past summer, Michael worked as a Client Support Apprentice for Shopify, a leading multinational E-Commerce company. During his time with Shopify, Michael work collaboratively with over 650 businesses that operate on the Shopify platform, providing end-to-end support for each client in conjunction with Shopify’s backend technical support.
At Queen’s, Michael has held multiple positions, including; Marketing Manager for the Queen’s Machine Intelligence and Neuro-Design team, Marketing Coordinator at the Queen’s Business Review, and Cloud Ambassador for Amazon Web Services. Outside of these positions, he also works as part of the bar staff for both Clark Hall Pub and The Ale House.
In his spare time, Michael plays on multiple sports teams, spends time at his cottage, and enjoys mountain biking. Upon graduating, he plans to find a career in consulting with specializations in technology and marketing.
