Julia grew up as a competitive dancer, teacher and choreographer and developed a passion at a young age for all things creative and daring. She is driven by the desire to find things she is passionate about and develop them in to entrepreneurial projects, hence the development of Smith Marketing Consulting alongside the founding team.

Over the past two summers Julia has worked in startup environments and loves having the opportunity to really make an impact in whatever role she is in. Her passions include dance, fitness and health, retail, marketing oh and of course talking - so much talking. This has led her to talk her way into many leadership opportunities within the Queen’s and commerce community including Chairing the Queen’s Retail Forum as well as leading the Queen’s Competitive Dance (Tap) Team.

In her work life their passion can be found at where marketing and strategy intersect, but when the work day is done she is usually found in the studio or doing some retail therapy.

Julia is ecstatic to be entering her fourth year at Smith and can't wait to continue building and supporting the SMC team throughout this final year.
