Austin Gust

Originally from Newmarket, Ontario, Austin is a 3rd year Commerce student at Queen's University and is a project consultant at Smith Marketing Consulting.

This past summer, Austin worked for an experiential marketing firm called Mosaic North America as an E-Commerce Coordinator. In this role, he worked closely with Digital Main Street as part of the ShopHERE program. Austin was responsible for helping business owners in Ontario bounce back from the effects of COVID-19 by creating personalized online Shopify stores and assisting with marketing needs.

Since being at Queen's, Austin has been an International Outreach Coordinator for Queen's Commerce Service Initiative, an executive that prides itself on giving back to local and international communities. As part of this executive, Austin travelled to Antigua, Guatemala in February 2020 for a mission trip.

Austin is a big sports fan who loves to ski, play golf, and go camping outside of school.
